[IIU] domain registry

A friend of mine wrote the Competition Authority registering a complaint about 
the handling of domain registration in Ireland, including the excessive fees 
involved and the lack of choice.

He received a response soliciting examples of other places and how Ireland is 
different.  Hmm.

Do any of you have an already-created list/table/whatever showing the various 
rates for domains in other countries in comparison to Ireland?
